For the first time in the organization’s history, K2 awarded a scholarship to the first Native Hawaiian student to attend the International Student House in Washington, D.C. This milestone represents not only an exciting opportunity for this deserving student but also a commitment to greater representation and inclusion in global leadership programs.
Our Co-Founders, Jeffrey Krilla and Peter Krilla, had the honor of presenting this groundbreaking scholarship during the evening. The atmosphere in the room was electric, filled with support for fostering diversity, empowering the next generation, and celebrating cultural exchange.

The Gala also featured an incredible fireside chat between Melike Yetken Krilla, co-chair of the event, and the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield.
