We are thrilled to share that Krilla Kaleiwahea (K2) has been named a 2025 Moxie Award winner in the GovCon <50 category, an honor that celebrates boldness in business and innovation across the government contracting space.
The Moxie Awards recognize organizations who are not only thriving in their industries but also making a meaningful impact through leadership, growth, and mission execution. For K2, this recognition is a reflection of the values that drive our work: excellence, integrity, agility, and kuleana (responsibility).
Founded by cousins Jeffrey Krilla and Peter Krilla, K2 launched in direct response to the 2023 Maui wildfires. What began as a rapid mobilization effort grounded in cultural stewardship has grown into a dynamic, people-first federal contractor supporting operations across defense, technology, disaster recovery, and workforce development.
To be named a Moxie Award winner is not only a tremendous honor, but a testament to the strength of our team, the trust of our partners, and the communities we serve. From Navy mission support to complex construction logistics and strategic staffing, K2 is committed to building a legacy that goes beyond the contract.
Mahalo to the Moxie Award team for this recognition, and to our incredible K2 Ohana for making it possible.
About K2: K2 is an 8(a) Native Hawaiian Organization delivering agile, mission-ready support to federal clients. With deep expertise in program management, construction, tech, operations, and intelligence support, K2 blends private-sector efficiency with public-sector purpose.
