Krilla Kaleiwahea, is an SBA 8(a) Native Hawaiian Organization with Top Secret facility clearance, delivering mission-ready professional services across six verticals: Defense and Intelligence, IT and Cybersecurity, Health and Human Services, Construction and Engineering, Facilities and Grounds Operations, and Emergency Response. We bring private-sector speed and federal-grade discipline to complex, high-stakes missions. We are looking for a self-directed talent recruiter to help us fill critical roles fast across these verticals. This is a commission-based contract with real growth potential for the right performer.


What You Will Do


  • Source and screen candidates across six verticals: Defense and Intelligence, IT and Cybersecurity, Health and Human Services, Construction and Engineering, Facilities and Grounds Operations, and Emergency Response

  • Submit qualified candidates quickly against active and pipeline requisitions

  • Manage candidates through the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, outreach, screening, submission, and offer

  • Leverage K2's SharePoint Talent Database to identify and track pipeline candidates

  • Coordinate with K2 leadership and prime contractor partners on role requirements and timelines

  • Track candidate status and activity in Gusto


What You Bring


  • Proven experience recruiting cleared talent across DoD, IC, and FedCiv environments, including roles requiring Secret, TS, and TS/SCI clearances

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate the cleared talent market, including clearance levels, adjudication timelines, and candidate disqualifiers

  • Experience working with prime contractors and government program offices on fill requirements and timelines

  • Experience in medical staffing, IT, construction, or facilities recruitment is a strong plus

  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter (K2 provides license access)

  • Familiarity with Gusto for onboarding and HR coordination

  • Comfortable working within SharePoint-based talent management systems

  • Fast executor. Submission windows are tight and competition is real.

  • Self-directed. You do not need hand-holding.


Compensation


  • Flat fee commission per successful placement

  • Strong performers will have the opportunity for expanded scope and potential full-time employment as K2 scales

  • This is the ground floor of something meaningful
