K2 (Krilla Kaleiwahea) was founded by cousins Peter Krilla and Jeff Krilla—both with deep roots in Hawaii—driven by a shared commitment to making a difference in their community. Peter brought his private sector experience as a Fortune 100 Executive, while Jeff brought his knowledge of the public sector as a former Senior Government official and military officer.
Together, they envisioned a company that blends the efficiency of the private sector with a mission-driven focus on strengthening individuals and communities. That vision led to the creation of K2, a Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) operating in the government contracting space. As a social enterprise, K2 reinvests fifty-one percent of its profits directly back into the Hawaiian community.
