About the Role
THE MISSION
Support Marine Corps Forces Pacific's G-35 Future Operations Directorate as they plan and coordinate operations across the Indo-Pacific theater. You'll be the operational nerve center, ensuring seamless coordination between senior military leadership and enabling the delivery of strategic planning products that directly support USINDOPACOM, COMPACFLT, and the Commandant of the Marine Corps.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Coordinate and integrate G-35 Directorate deliverables that support daily battle rhythms from G-3 through USINDOPACOM and the Commandant
Serve as the primary point of contact for G-35 visitors and meeting requests involving the Director, Deputy Director, and branch heads
Represent the G-35 Director and Deputy Director positions in adjacent staff battle rhythm events
Track and follow up on directorate tasks from G-3, Chief of Staff, and general officers at MARFORPAC
Monitor delegated tasks to subordinate branches, ensuring timely completion
Communicate verbal and written tasks from leadership to subordinate branch heads
Advise on workflow assignments and workload balancing decisions
Enable convening of Operational Planning Teams, Joint Planning Teams, and other working groups
Compile executive-level future operations presentations and readiness reports
Record, prepare, and disseminate meeting minutes per leadership direction
Review and edit branch-created products for completeness per established standards
Schedule conference rooms, manage online calendars, and coordinate SVTCs at all classification levels
Handle classified information per DoD policies while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive discussions
Display unwavering professionalism as a front-facing representative of the G-35 Directorate
Salary
$110,000 - $132,000 per year
Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING
20 years of experience
Bachelor's degree and Command and Staff College graduate
Military background as O-4/O-5 (or senior enlisted E-7/E-8/E-9, Warrant Officers, or O-1 to O-3 with bachelor's and Command Staff College)
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn AI-enabled systems
Bachelor's degree level written and verbal communication skills for general and flag officer-level products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Strategic Studies, Defense Analysis, Security Studies, Business Administration, Public Policy, or Operations Research
Advanced Operational Planning Schools (JAWS, SAMS, MAWS, JCWS, JPME)
Senior PME such as CGSC, ILE, USMC CSC, MAGTF, NCSC, War College
Professional certificates (PMP, CMP)
Relevant Military MOS experience (USMC 0302, 0502, 0511)
Background with USINDOPACOM, MARFORPAC, HQMC, combatant command staff, Service component staff, or MEF headquarters
