OVERVIEW
Join the fight where medical logistics meets strategic operations. You'll be the MEDLOG subject matter expert for MARFORPAC, directly supporting Indo-Pacific Command's most critical missions. Your expertise will shape Class VIII sustainment, readiness posture, and allied interoperability across the theater. THE MISSION
Serve as the Office of the Force Surgeon (OFS) medical logistics (MEDLOG) subject matter expert supporting MARFORPAC deliberate and contingency planning. You'll focus on Class VIII posture/sustainment, readiness, allied/partner interoperability, and operational logistics in direct support of the MARFORPAC Campaign Plan/Order and INDOPACOM-aligned efforts. Your role provides continuity across planning cycles by assessing operational requirements, translating MEDLOG doctrine/system realities for planners/action officers, and producing high-quality staff products and recommendations.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year

Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Identify and assess operational-level MEDLOG requirements from subordinate/tactical inputs
Compare current and projected capabilities against requirements and provide actionable recommendations
Monitor classified and unclassified communications for emerging MEDLOG requirements and issues
Develop and manage Health Service Support (HSS) MEDLOG POA&Ms (Plans of Action & Milestones)
Review and QA staff products, including briefs, action plans, and supporting documentation
Participate in working groups, operational planning teams, and synchronization meetings across MARFORPAC/INDOPACOM
Maintain operational task visibility through Microsoft Teams task trackers and tasking tools
Provide weekly activity updates and elevate issues requiring Force Surgeon/OFS support
Provide MEDLOG inputs to annual assessments and campaign/Annex Q-related cycles
Participate in planning events by providing coordinated MEDLOG assessments, opinions, and expertise
Monitor doctrinal/policy updates and advise on required adjustments to OFS/MARFORPAC policy
Provide MEDLOG-specific inputs for exercise plans and Annex Q products
Produce timely, analytically supported recommendations on gap/shortfall identification and mitigations
Deliver recurring reports aligned to government formats and timelines
Follow OFS/MARFORPAC internal reviews to ensure technical accuracy and eliminate errors
WHAT YOU BRING
6+ years of experience supporting military logistics and sustainment operations
Bachelor's degree in logistics management, supply chain management, or related field
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight on mission-critical, high-visibility work
Experience across DoD joint service and international military/civilian logistics networks
Working knowledge of U.S. Navy MEDLOG systems/reporting, including MAXIMO Logistics Command & Control
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Military schooling such as SNCO Academy, Career Level School, Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS), and/or Supply School
Active TS/SCI clearance
