K2 is proud to announce the addition of Dr. John Lawrence as Senior Advisor of K2 Health, bringing with him a wealth of experience across clinical medicine, wellness innovation, entrepreneurship, and creative writing.

Dr. Lawrence is a medical doctor whose career spans a wide spectrum of roles—from Medical Director of private urgent care centers to founder of a functional health clinic that integrates Eastern and Western medicine. A specialist in regenerative medicine, John is known for his holistic and evidence-based approach to healing and performance optimization.

Currently, Dr. Lawrence serves as Director of Health and Wellness at Voicesense, a voice analytics company developing groundbreaking tools for mental health screening and monitoring. His diverse medical background also includes experience as an expedition physician with training in high-altitude medicine, where he has coordinated donations of medical supplies to underserved rural clinics.

In addition to his clinical and leadership work, John is also an accomplished author. His Playing Doctor book series is a witty, honest, and often hilarious trilogy that chronicles the raw realities of medical training. His writing has earned praise for its sharp voice and authentic storytelling, attracting a loyal following within and beyond the healthcare world.

Dr. Lawrence holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys skiing, trail running, cycling, and spending time with his family and many dogs.

At K2 Health, Dr. Lawrence will advise on strategic direction, performance-focused health initiatives, and innovative approaches to wellness and care. His addition marks an exciting step forward in K2's mission to integrate cutting-edge medical insight with the values of community, resilience, and impact.
